As part of Bugler Developments’ design team, Forge acted as executive architect during the detail design and construction stages of this project. The approved planning design raised issues that stretched the budget of the end user, Genesis Housing Group. We were tasked with researching and testing alternative ways to detail the building to be more cost-effective whilst retaining the high-quality design. The success of this can be seen in the final building, where features such as the window reveals and inset balconies demonstrate the high aesthetic of the original design.
